Other Sources of Help

You can go to your doctor’s surgery and ask about counselling.  NHS counselling is free.  It is not however always available, the number of sessions is likely to be limited and there tend to be long waiting lists.

Samaritans  Samaritans provides confidential non-judgemental emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide. 0845 790 90 90

Relate deal with couple relationships of all sorts.  They will see you alone or with a partner.  There is a charge, though some allowance is made for income.  There is an outpost of the Lincoln Branch which works in Spalding for a few hours each week: 01522 524 922
